It is absolutely breathtaking.

Among the stately old estates on the Gold Coast of Long Island, there’s one that doesn’t quite fit in. “Maison des Jardins Maison des Jardins” was constructed over the past several years, but the 22,000-square-foot, 17th century-style manor was modeled on the Château de Versailles and the Château de Vaux le Vicomte in France. Raphael Yakoby, an Israeli-born entrepreneur, is the man behind the home.

Yakoby, who created Hpnotiq and Nuvo liqueurs, had planned to move in with his family but instead decided to list the house and its contents for $100 million last  summer, Newsdayreported.

The house sits on eight acres in Old Brookville.

The front door is a replica of the one at Versailles.

The staircase’s cast-iron and gold-leaf banister, meanwhile, was modeled on one at Marie Antoinette’s Le Petit Trianon.

The asking price is now $60 million.

And that includes all the furnishings.
